These 16 candidates will be evaluated by four recognized chefs and culinary experts: Hélène Darroze, Philippe Etchebest, Glenn Viel and Paul Pairet.
What’s new in the Top Chef 2023 competition
Some changes have been made to this great culinary competition for this new season of Top Chef! Indeed, this year, Hélène Darroze will supervise a culinary duel between the outgoing candidate and the winner of the previous week’s duel, with the possibility of re-entering the competition in the quarter-final.
This culinary duel which will take place at the end of the episode will replace the famous test. The M6 campaign was designed by Libre MullenLowe and the advertising film showing the French putting their own little grain of salt on the dish they are tasting was directed by Franck Allera.
Presentation of the candidates
From March 1, viewers will find the 14th season of Top Chef on M6. Among the candidates, they will discover Albane Auvray, a chef who is on the move. Originally from Auvergne, she moved to Paris when she was 17 and spent a stint at the Clarence, before joining the kitchens of Alan Geaam, then those of the Bristol where she worked as first commis. To learn culinary excellence, Albane went to Asia for 2 months to understand the different local cuisines.
During this season 14 of Top Chef, viewers will also meet Danny Khezzar, Sarika Sor, Léo Renusson and Jacques Lagarde, to name a few.
The TV system around Top Chef 2023
The first broadcast of this 14th season is scheduled for February 2023, and to accompany this major event, EDF is offering the “En Décalé” system: at 6 p.m., the site switches to dark mode to reduce consumption during consumption peaks .
